A few years ago I used The Art of Shaving peppermint face wash that also doesn't foam and it didn't clean my face all that well. With that experience I was skeptical of using this product. I know everyone's skin is different, but as for me, this works great! It's gentle jojoba beads scrub while moisturizing at the same time. This is gentle enough to use twice daily. I like the exfoliating properties because it takes years off of your skin. This also is good if you tend to get ingrown hairs. You'll notice you'll have less ingrown hairs when using this.
To me, this luxury product is well worth it. Don't think twice about buying this. Men either receive or allow their selves very few luxuries in life. Women buy luxury cosmetics without blinking an eye. I strongly would recommend Truefitt & Hill's facial moisturizer to go along with this face wash.
I am almost now exclusively using all of Truefitt & Hill's product line (i.e. shaving cream, pre-shave oil, fragrance, etc). Truefitt is, in my opinion, the more luxurious upscale brand of the three English "T's" (Taylors of Old Bond Street, Trumpers, Truefitt & Hill). Their products are made for the discerning man who doesn't have time to quibble with inferior products. I can justify the price I pay because their products are of extremely high quality.
