This classical, woody fragrance with spicy oriental notes was named to commemorate the HMS Grafton Destroyer. The name “Grafton” was given to Truefitts’ newly blended fragrance in 1983 at the suggestion of one of HMS Grafton’s officers, who while being attended to by a Truefitts’ barber, particularly liked this unmistakably masculine aroma and suggested that the new fragrance be named after the gracious HMS destroyer.

Scent: A classic masculine fougere aroma with a fresh spicy green herbaceous opening combined with a dry spicy floral heart, leading onto rich background notes of precious woods and Amber with a hint of leather.

My Signature Scent

I got this as a gift about a year ago. Best cologne I’ve ever owned. It’s become my signature scent. I get a lot of compliments from it, most importantly I feel confident about the way I smell when I wear this.

A complex fragrance

This is my favourite Truefitt & Hill fragrance. Absolutely fantastic. It is very masculine and upon initial application it can seem a bit overpowering. However, the initial top notes seem to fade away to a clean scent. The fragrance no longer becomes overwhelming immediately around you, but becomes a complex scent that your own body heat and chemistry change. Only your lady will be able to enjoy it up close. It is still present at the end of the day as well. Just a superb fragrance.

I love Truefitt & Hill!

I recently began wet-shaving, about 10 months ago, after getting tired of the razor burn and $30 refill packs of the disposable "uber razors" with their 'super cool" marketing gimic names. Since switching to wet shaving, I cannot and will not ever go back (although I must admit, I do keep an electric razor in my car for those mornings when I wake up late for work or just forgot to shave.)

When starting out, I researched the subject quite a bit, and learned of and read so many reviews on the Truefitt & Hill product lines. So I figured "Why spend the money on a cologne, aftershave or scented shaving cream when I can't smell it to know if I like it!?". Well, thats why I bought their sample pack. I know I can't say where, but use your head and I'm certain that you can figure out where you can get THEIR product samples from. Anyway, That's where I learned that I love this cologne. It's masculine but it doesn't overpower you if you use just a few pumps.

I'd have to say that it's musky, with a bit of cedar, citrus and vanilla. My wife adores it and can't get enough of it!

Ya, it's over $70, and it's on the high end of most colognes out there today, but it's so worth the cost. I've had this now for three weeks and have used it daily, and can barely see a difference in the quantity within the bottle.
